Some things to know before you fly with your best friend.
There are 2 ways your puppy can fly with you.
If they are small they can fly in a carrier if it fits under the seat in front of you. This option is limited on the number they allow and each airline has slightly diffrent size requirements.
The second is they can fly below in a carrier. Not to worry they are treated very well, but they will be alone for the flight.
With either of these you do have to reserve ahead and you are limited in the number of pets allowed on a flight.
Be sure to consult with a veterinarian to ensure your pet is healthy enough to fly, make sure they are up to date on all vaccinations, and obtain any necessary medical certificates. The airline will want to see that they are healthy and safe to fly.
Some airlines do not allow some dog breads to fly. This is any short snout breads. The thought behind this is breathing is hard enough for these breads add the airline does not want to be responsible if they have any issues.
Arrive to the airport extra early to allow enough time for proper checking in, security checks, and acclimating your pup to the environment.
Also once you arrive at the airport the ticketing agent and gate agent has the final say as to whether your friend comes along or not. So be nice to them.
Oh any the other option is a private plane. This gives you the flexibility for you traveling companion to be in the seat next to you. We can definitely help with this.
